Sustainable Food Systems
Call for Solutions – Sustainable Food Systems is the initiative launched within the Horizon2020 Food Trails project, which aims to develop more sustainable, healthy and inclusive food policies in 11 European cities: Bergamo, Birmingham, Bordeaux Metropole, Copenhagen, Funchal, Grenobel-Alpes Metropole, Groningen, Milan, Thessaloniki, Tirana, and Warsaw.
The call selects innovative start-ups and SMEs to develop, in collaboration with Food Trails’ partner cities, strategic solutions to improve the sustainability of urban food systems.
The 7 areas of challenge
The 11 cities involved in the Food Trails project contributed to defining the main challenges addressed by the Call. This call seeks innovative startups and SMEs that can develop strategic services and solutions related to seven different areas of challenge:
