Cariplo Factory’s Community Innovation projects generate a concrete and measurable impact from a social, environmental and cultural point of view.

We work closely with foundations, institutions, organizations and agencies, civil society entities and corporate companies, both Italian and international.

Case History

Call for Solutions – Sustainable Food Systems is an initiative launched within the Horizon2020 Food Trails project, designed to develop sustainable, healthy, and inclusive food policies in 11 European cities: Bergamo, Birmingham, Bordeaux Metropole, Copenhagen, Funchal, Grenoble-Alpes Metropole, Groningen, Milan, Thessaloniki, Tirana, and Warsaw.

Coopen is a participatory initiative promoted by Innovazione per lo Sviluppo, a program by Fondazione Cariplo and Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, with the goal of fostering innovation in the field of international cooperation. The initiative benefits from the technical support of Cariplo Factory, Tiresia, JengaLab, and Effecinque.

Case History

Berkeley SkyDeck Europe, Milano is the acceleration program promoted by Berkeley SkyDeck, Cariplo Factory, and Lendlease to support the development of the European startup ecosystem through a program carried out partly in Italy, at the MIND Milano Innovation District, and partly in the United States.

Federated Innovation @MIND is the public-private collaborative model designed to drive and coordinate innovation processes within the MIND-Milan Innovation District. The model is promoted by Lendlease with the contribution of Cariplo Factory as the catalyst of the entire ecosystem.
