Join the Call for Solutions | VAS for App Ecosystem, the open innovation initiative promoted by Poste Italiane and managed by Cariplo Factory.
We are seeking startups and innovative SMEs ready to revolutionize the user experience with cutting-edge solutions and value-added services to be integrated into the Poste Italiane app ecosystem.
The proposals should encourage the adoption and interaction with services, creating synergies across the various business areas of Poste Italiane and making the app more comprehensive, omnichannel, and appealing to end customers. Among the target audiences, special attention is dedicated to young people, with solutions designed to meet their needs and make the app more engaging and attractive to the new generations.
Scenario
In late 2023, Poste Italiane launched its new application that enables all customers to access and manage a wide range of services and products from Poste Italiane’s main businesses through a single digital touchpoint.
Target
The initiative is aimed at legal entities, startups and Italian SMEs that are duly registered in the special sections of the Companies Register. In the case of foreign startups and/or SMEs, it will be a prerequisite to have a branch and/or project activities carried out or in progress in the Italian territory. Startups must be established or in the process of being established in Italy, or wish to open a legal entity in Italy. It is necessary that they have a team with experience and background in the relevant field and hold an MVP (Minimum Viable Product).
Proof of Concept
Selected startups will have the opportunity to develop a 3-month PoC (Proof of Concept) in collaboration with Poste Italiane, promoter of the initiative with the support of theOpen Innovation Partner, Cariplo Factory.
This phase represents a unique opportunity for the winners to test their technology in a controlled environment tailored to Poste Italiane’s specific use cases, which could open up possible later scenarios for adoption of the tested solutions.
Timeline
Collecting applications
At this stage, startups and SMEs can submit their innovative solutions in response to the challenges by filling out the dedicated form on this website. It is important to provide accurate and complete information. Applications close on October 18, 2024 at 11:59 pm.
Evaluation and selection of applications
After the scouting phase, an evaluation process will be initiated by Cariplo Factory and Poste Italiane to select up to 7 innovative realities that will have the opportunity to participate in the Bootcamp.
Selection Bootcamp
The entities considered to have the highest potential will be involved in a Bootcamp event during which they will have the opportunity to tell their project story. At the event, Poste Italiane will have the opportunity to evaluate the solutions most in line with its needs, reserving the possibility of activating a path of collaboration that could result in a technological, industrial or commercial partnership. During the event, up to a maximum of 2 realities will be selected to enter the next phases of the initiative dedicated to the development of POC together with the Poste Italiane team.
PoC execution
Winners will have the opportunity to develop a PoC lasting about 3 months with Poste Italiane, with potential follow-on scenarios for adoption of the tested solutions.
